I am a single mom aged 41. i'd like to try to buy a house for my very small family. i want to give my daughter some stability. however. i cannot afford it, because i have an overwhelming school debt hanging over my head. any tips or suggestions on how to pay it back or have some of it forgiven would be most appreciated.

also, the father of my baby will not get a job and pay his support to her. it is causing quite a lot of strain on my finances also...

any help would be paid forward as soon as possible in any way i can.

thanks/

Hello, Don't give up your life fight. You are doing good. One thing I can tell you is to control your debt. See what is important to you at this time and work backwards... What I mean is pay off the smallest amount first, not make a payment. Pay it off, then go to the next smallest and so forth.

Getting a home is a dream for everyone, it can be achived. If your school debt is getting in the way. Then get rid of it. Pay it off, don't make a payment, pay it off.

As for the kid's dad. You need to get tuff, it's called tuff love... and get him up and going. You know what buttons to push. When a man does not want to do nothing. There scared of life and they think they have a life they don't want. They wish it could have been different. But life gives you surpriese and he got one. You just need to get tuff.....
